Dr Melissa McKay - Medical Director

With a vision to build life-long relationships with clients in a clinic equipped to support them through their entire aesthetic journey, Dr Melissa McKay joined Blended Wellness Aesthetics as its Medical Director in 2022. Graduating from Leeds University with a Bachelor of Pharmacology and Medicine and Surgery in 2003, She has worked in the NHS for over 15 years, developing a keen interest in plastic surgery and rotating through both surgical roles at Kingston Hospital and Plastics, and reconstructive surgery at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, London. Working with patients suffering from both congenital and traumatic cranio-facial problems, burns and cosmetic plastic surgery, Dr Melissa went on to obtain a membership to the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh), before re-educating as a G.P. in 2009 to focus on her specialisation of Aesthetic Medicine.

With a keen eye for symmetry and balance, Dr Melissa has become one of the most respected and sought after practitioners across the UK, Middle East and beyond, with an enviable client list. Her conservative approach to treatments are driven through a pro-ageing mentality, focused on enhancing one’s natural self through a “less is most certainly more” approach to achieve a natural aesthetic result. Dr Melissa has perfected her skills in skin, hair and facial rejuvenation procedures, including anti-ageing, profile balancing, lip augmentation, hair restoration and liquid rhinoplasty.

Her ability to assess each client’s needs comes as a result of her years of experience, tailored specifically to their journey and focused on finding their best self.
